WORKSHOPS

Targeting Isolation offers workshops to a variety of audiences including healthcare workers, social service professionals, and community volunteers.

These workshops are typically offered on-line (live) and information can be tailored to a group's needs. Check out the listing below for upcoming workshops. Or contact us to set up a workshop for your organization or group.

WORKSHOP LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 
1. Describe why it is important to focus on socially isolated older adults

2. Discuss the role of Community Connectors

3. Learn major risk factors and signs of social isolation and loneliness 

4. Describe how to refer a socially isolated older adult living in Manitoba to community services like A & O: Support Services for Older Adults Inc.
